by alexross422003

alexross422003 talks shares his ideas about gaming online with consoles, gives his game impressions, and more!

Hey guys! Let's get started!

This would typically be good news, but there is one problem-Hideo Kojima is no longer making Metal Gear games. Who will take over? Who knows.

"sigh" Another great title-gone.

A great all-ages comic ladies and gents returns! By the way, buy the Mary Jane digest now!

Internet Gaming for Console Gamers: Ideas

Okay, I mentioned my thoughts on gaming online with consoles a while back, but I'm back with some more discussion. This time I have some ideas that could help gaming online with you console a lot better in the future.

-Include an Wireless router with the online console adapter and include easy instructions.

Just about every Xbox owner that I know complains that it seems hard to go online. Then, they complain about how are they going get their internet connection for their console. Well guys, it's time to add a wireless router to the console mix. Yes, I know they exist, but they're not really in gamers' hands because they want a convenient way of playing games online. Not only that, there should be ads or some sort of instruction booklet that easily helps people hooks up people with some online play.

-Have sponsors advertise and/or rent/own servers online. Then, have those who want ad-less online gaming can pay a reasonable, monthly fee.

This is the one thing that is keeping console online gaming down-costs. I don't think that the average gamer is going to put down a regular fee for playing games online. Look, at least have some sponsors who can deliver ads for the service. Not only that, but have people who can rent or even servers for different games. Okay, for those who hate the ads, they should pay a reasonable, monthly fee.

Who's with me on these ideas?

Some Game Impressions

This is a new feature that I'll add every now and then. For those that check out my site, I will eventually add previews, but for now I'm doing this. Ready?!

Mario Power Tennis (GC)-Good tennis mechanics, but the mini-games could be better.

Metroid Prime: Hunters [First Hunt] (DS)-Multiplayer=fun Single Player=bleh.

Katamari Damacy (PS2)-Interesting idea, but doesn't work as well as it could with weak analog control.

Well, I must say, this year has been great. I've started the only opinion column on this site and it has been running since April. Anyway, have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
