SDCC: Marvel

Here are some highlights worth mentioning:

Warren Ellis will be the new writer for Iron Man with Adi Granov doing the art.

Ed Brubaker will be the new writer on Captain America with Steve Epting doing the pencils.

Runaways will return in January with a new 1 issue.

Warren Ellis and Robert Kirkman have exclusive contracts with Marvel along with Roberto Sacassa.

Silver Surfer’s last issue is #14

SDCC: DC

Here are some highlights worth mentioning:

Teen Titans: Games is scheduled to be released in October 2005 by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

HERO will not have any new trade paperbacks in the near future.

Space Ghost, by Joe Kelly and Ariel Olivetti, will have a more serious approach to the character than the animated show.

Batgirl will have a new creative team in Andersen Gabrych and Alé Garza.

A sequel for Formerly Known as the Justice League is in the works.

And for you Armored Core fans…

The only downside is that it will only ship in Japan….for now.

New X-Men writer!

That’s right folk’s! Peter Milligan writing the X-Men! If he can cause the same excitement that he brought from X-Statix, then this may just be one of the best X-Books out there. If you hate this man’s work, think on the bright side: Chuck Austen isn’t writing the comic anymore.
