Memory Cards and Superpowers-5 Warner Bros. Interactive's announcement

by alexross422003

alexross422003 talks about Warner Bros. Interactive's big announcement and what it means for gamers.

Have you ever played a licensed game? Well, if you have then you know only one thing:it probably stinks. With the exception of the Lord of The Rings, the James Bond games (Goldeneye and beyond),and some of the Marvel games, licensed games aren't very good. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Warner Bros. Interactive was going to base publisher payments on review scores.

How are they going to do this? Warner Bros. will go to a site like gamestats and see if a game averages at least 70% or higher. If it doesn't reach that goal, then the publisher will receive less money.
Now, you may think that it might be a little strict with the 70 % goal. After all, what if they receive 69.9%? Well, they might round it to 70%, however, Warner Bros. may be a little more strict and give them less pay. Again, this is to ensure that their games are the best that they can be.

Overall, Warner Bros. has done a great deed to the gaming community. It may be a little strict, but it is for the good of the gamers. I just hope that more companys follow Warner Bros. footsteps. And yes, this means an actually good Superman game will actually be made.
