Memory Cards and Superpowers-4 E3 2004 Top 5

by alexross422003

alexross422003 names his top 5 favorite products of E3.

E3, a expo that lasts for a few days has just closed down it's doors for another year. Some great products were shown this year. So I'm going to give you my top 5 picks of E3.

5. Evil Genius (PC)-Have you ever wanted to become an evil villain who planned to destroy the world? Well, Elixir Studios has the game for you. Evil Genius is a game where you play a diabolical villain who plans on destroying the world. But first, you need to hire some henchman and plant traps around your fortress to stop those "do-gooders" from stopping your plans. You can even own hotels near your base, to keep the same "do-gooders" from catching-up to your base. This game will even allow you to capture and then boast to those "do-gooders". At the rate this game is going, it may be one of the most entertaining games this year.

4. Fable (XBOX)-Created by Peter Molyneux appears to be shaping up pretty nicely. In this game, every decision that you make will effect what happens in this game. Every person you talk to, every blow your character receives, will effect what happens in the game. There' s even a real-time weather system, in which the weather changes and shows effects of the weather on the landscape. This game just might be one of the greatest games of all time.

3. The Movies (Gamecube,PC, PS2, XBOX)-Another game from Peter Molyneux, The Movies will allow you run your own movie studio. You can choose to make movies, run your studio, deal with your actors (or actresses) or all of the previously mentioned gameplay choices. There are a lot of different actors, directors, sets, and costumes to choose from in this game. If you're good enough, you can put your movies online for other people to see and critique (at least on the PC version). The Movies appears to be one of the most creative games to come out this year.

2. Nintendo DS-When this was first announced, Nintendo left everyone in the dark on what this system was going to be like. However, when Nintendo finally showed off this at E3, I was impressed. The Nintendo DS features two screens, two shoulder buttons, four other buttons (Y,X,A,B), a built-in microphone, a battery life of 10 hours, wireless capibilities, the ability to play GBA games, N64-esque graphics and touch screen. With these different functions, game developers, now can make unique and new gameplaying expreciences that have never been explored. And with a strong line-up of games featuring: Animal Crossing DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and WarioWare DS, the Nintendo DS is looking to be one of the greatest game devices ever.

1. The Legend of Zelda (Gamecube): This game came out of no-where, and suprised everyone. The only information about this game was shown in a trailer that last at least a minute, but that is the only thing that it needed. The Legend of Zelda features Link in his teen years. He will have to battle a massive army, why, I don't know. The graphics in this game are stunning. Link, this time, is able to fight his enemies while riding his horse. It may not be the most revolutionary game of E3, but this game just may be the game that Ocarina of Time wanted to become. The suprising part is that many consider the Ocarina of Time to be the GREATEST GAME OF ALL-TIME! For this, The Legend of Zelda is on the top of my list.

Note: Here are some other stuff from E3 that looked interesting: Starfox (Gamecube), Animal Crossing DS (Nintendo DS), Jak 3 (PS2), WarioWare DS (Nintendo DS).
